INSPIRATION:
‘This was the sketch idea for a piece I did in my ‘Burlesque’ collection, whilst living in London. I was going to shows quite often as the Neo Burlesque scene had made a big revival. And was so inspired by the confidence of the performers who came in all shapes and sizes, so I started to paint my own characters, and exhibited my work around the city.’
