INSPIRATION:
‘I did this watercolour painting around 2013 I think. I was living with friends, just back from another jaunt somewhere across the globe, very low on cash, wondering what to do next, working in a coffee shop, feeling a bit insecure and vulnerable, but knowing I must continue to follow my heart and my passions no matter what. I loved this quote by Anais Nin, which inspired the title of my memoir (the first edition), a quote which I live by. And now the new edition has a different title but a section of this painting as the cover. So it seems kind of like a completion to combine the two in a print now.’
