INSPIRATION:
This was the evolution of my ‘Cerise Magnolia’ piece, which was the first creation in my ‘Burlesque’ collection, whilst living in London.
I was going to shows quite often, as the Neo Burlesque scene had made a big revival. And was so inspired by the confidence of the performers who came in all shapes and sizes, so I started to paint my own characters, and exhibited my work around the city.
When I started my tattoo business I made this version of Cerise for my branding.
